Many of the companies, that we are pleased to offer our services to, elect to have their portable appliances checked yearly as an ongoing maintenance programme, combined with a 100% visual check of the fixed electrical installation and a percentage of the fixed wiring tested. Additionally, we would undertake this with a thermographic survey of the main components of the system. For instance a commercial property would typically elect to test 20% of the fixed installation annually to meet with the IEE recommended Periodic Inspection and Testing frequency. This program has the advantage of detecting potential problems at an early stage through our comprehensive yearly visual inspections of the whole installation and thermal imaging of accessories.
